2. Our Local-First Commitment
ClienTrak is built on a "Local-First" architecture. Your client profiles, interaction notes, and relationship records stay on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
Zero Server Access: We do not have access to the names, companies, or notes you enter into the app.
No Cloud Sync: Your data is stored exclusively in your device's local database. Your data is backed up only if you perform a full device backup via iCloud.
On-Device Processing: PDF generation, data sorting, and all app functionality happen entirely on your hardware.
3. What Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's features:
Subscription information — when you subscribe, Apple and RevenueCat process your payment. We receive confirmation of your subscription status only. We never receive your payment card details.
Notification preferences — whether you have enabled follow-up reminders and your in-app notification settings.
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other personal information unless you contact us directly. We do not collect any information about the clients you document within the app.
4. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide the app's functionality:
Your subscription status is checked to determine whether you have access to Pro features.
Notification preferences are used to send follow-up reminders if you have enabled them.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app. We do not sell your data to any third party.
5. RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. When you subscribe, RevenueCat processes and stores your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive your payment details — all payments are handled directly by Apple. You can view RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
6. Follow-up Reminders
If you enable follow-up reminders on a note, the app will schedule a local notification on your device. These notifications are generated and stored entirely on-device. No notification content is transmitted to our servers. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings app.
7. Professional & Legal Compliance
As the user of ClienTrak, you are the Data Controller for the client information you input.
You are responsible for ensuring your documentation practices comply with applicable laws and your organisation's internal policies.
ClienTrak provides the technical means to store this data securely on your device but does not assume any legal obligations arising from your client relationships.
For users in the European Union, your use of ClienTrak may be subject to GDPR. For users in California, your use may be subject to CCPA. As all data is stored locally on your device, TypanLogix does not process personal client data on your behalf.
8. Your Rights
As a user you have the right to:
Access — view and edit any entry directly within the app.
Deletion — delete any entry within the app to remove it from your device. Deleting the ClienTrak app will permanently erase all stored data.
Portability — export your data at any time using the PDF export feature.
Withdraw consent — disable notifications at any time through your device settings, and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

9. Children's Privacy
ClienTrak is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Data Retention
Your documentation data is retained on your device for as long as you use the app. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently erased. Subscription records are retained by RevenueCat and Apple in accordance with their respective policies.

The app uses the following third-party services:
Apple In-App Purchase — payment processing. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat — subscription management. Governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers. We do not sell your data to any third party.
