2. What Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's features:

• Content you create — projects, milestones, checklist items, activity logs, and any images you upload as project thumbnails.

• Subscription information — when you subscribe, Apple and RevenueCat process your payment. We receive confirmation of your subscription status only. We never receive your payment card details.

• Notification preferences — whether you have enabled push notifications and your in-app notification settings.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other personal information unless you contact us directly.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the app's functionality:

• Your projects, milestones and logs are stored so you can access and manage them.

• Your data is synced across your devices via iCloud so it is available wherever you use the app.

• Your subscription status is checked to determine whether you have access to the app.

• Notification preferences are used to send stalled project reminders if you have enabled them.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

4. iCloud and CloudKit

Milestones uses Apple's CloudKit service to sync your data across your devices. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have direct access to your iCloud data. You can manage or delete your iCloud data at any time through your device's iCloud settings.

5. RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. When you subscribe, RevenueCat processes and stores your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive your payment details — all payments are handled directly by Apple. You can view RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

6. Push Notifications

If you grant permission, the app may send you local push notifications to remind you when a project has not been checked in on for several days. You can disable these notifications at any time in your device's Settings app.

7. Your Rights

As a user you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.

• Deletion — request that we delete your data. Since your project data lives in your iCloud account, you can delete it directly from within the app or by managing your iCloud storage.

• Portability — export your data at any time from within the app.

• Withdraw consent — disable notifications at any time through your device settings, and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Milestones: Project Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Data Retention

Your project data is retained for as long as you use the app and have an active iCloud account. If you delete the app, your data remains in your iCloud account until you choose to delete it. Subscription records are retained by RevenueCat and Apple in accordance with their respective policies.

10. Third Party Services

The app uses the following third party services:

• Apple CloudKit — data sync and storage. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

• Apple In-App Purchase — payment processing. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

• RevenueCat — subscription management. Governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

We do not use any third party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers. We do not sell your data to any third party.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Governing Law

This privacy policy is governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
