Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using ClienTrak. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Who We Are

ClienTrak is developed and operated by TypanLogix, based in Australia. If you have any questions about these terms, contact us at support@typanlogix.com.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ClienTrak, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

3. License and Scope of Use

TypanLogix grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use ClienTrak on Apple-branded products that you own or control.

  • Personal & Professional Use: This licence is for your professional use in managing and documenting your client relationships.

  • Restrictions: You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the app.

4. Subscription and Payment

ClienTrak offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. The following terms apply:

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

  • Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

  • All financial transactions are processed through the Apple App Store.

  • No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

  • All refund requests must be directed to Apple.

  • We use RevenueCat to manage ClienTrak Pro subscriptions. RevenueCat does not receive your payment details.

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in the app — including client profiles, interaction notes, and exported PDF reports. By using the app you grant TypanLogix no rights to your content. Your content is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

6. Local Data Storage

ClienTrak is built on a "Local-First" architecture.

  • No Cloud Storage: TypanLogix does not host, sync, or back up your client notes to our servers. Your data lives exclusively on your device.

  • Risk of Loss: If you delete the app, lose your device, or experience a hardware failure without a separate device backup, your data will be permanently lost. TypanLogix is not liable for any such data loss.

7. User Responsibility & Professional Compliance

ClienTrak is a documentation tool. You, the user, are the sole creator and Data Controller of all content entered into the app.

  • Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring your documentation practices comply with your organisation's internal policies and applicable laws, including GDPR and CCPA where relevant.

  • Accuracy: TypanLogix does not verify the information you record. You are responsible for the accuracy and professional nature of the records you create.

  • No Legal or Professional Advice: The app is a documentation tool only. It does not provide legal, sales, or business advice.

  • Business Decisions: TypanLogix is not liable for any commercial disputes, client relationship outcomes, or litigation arising from documentation created using the app.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.

  • Use the app to store or transmit any malicious, harmful, or offensive content.

  • Use the app to document clients in a manner that violates their legal rights.

9. Intellectual Property All intellectual property rights in the app — including but not limited to the app name, logo, design, code, and features — are owned by TypanLogix. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your personal or professional use. This licence does not permit you to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the app or any part of it.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. TypanLogix does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that documentation generated will be legally sufficient for your specific jurisdiction's requirements. You use the app at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, TypanLogix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or commercial disputes arising from app documentation.

12. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. If you are an Australian consumer, you may have statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

13. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at typanlogix.com/clientrak/privacy. By using the app you agree to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Apple EULA

By using ClienTrak, you also agree to the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which is incorporated here by reference: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

15. Changes to the App

TypanLogix reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the app.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

17. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease.

18. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
