Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information Lumin collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user.


1. Who We Are

Lumin is developed and operated by TypanLogix, based in Australia. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@typanlogix.com.


2. What Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's features:

Account information a randomly generated user ID created when you first open the app. We do not collect your name, email address, or any identifying information unless you choose to enter a display name within the app.

Connection data your paired connection with another user, including the shared sky theme, moon phase streak, and tap activity between you and your connected person.

Device token your push notification token, used solely to deliver tap notifications from your connected person.

Subscription information when you subscribe, Apple and RevenueCat process your payment. We receive confirmation of your subscription status only. We never receive your payment card details.

We do not collect your location, contacts, browsing history, or any other personal information.


3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the app's functionality:

Your connection data is stored so both you and your connected person can share a real-time experience.

Your device token is used to send you a notification when your connected person taps their orb.

Your subscription status is checked to determine whether you have access to premium themes.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.


4. Supabase

We use Supabase to store connection data and deliver real-time tap events between connected users. This includes your user ID, connection state, moon phase streak, and active theme. Supabase is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. You can view Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.


5. RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. When you subscribe, RevenueCat processes and stores your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive your payment details all payments are handled directly by Apple. You can view RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.


6. Push Notifications

If you grant permission, the app will send you push notifications when your connected person taps their orb. You can disable these notifications at any time in your device's Settings app.


7. Your Rights

As a user you have the right to:

Access request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.

Deletion request that we delete your data. You can disconnect and delete your connection data directly from within the app using the Reset Everything option in Settings. This will permanently remove your connection and all associated data from our servers.

Withdraw consent disable notifications at any time through your device settings, and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Lumin is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.


9. Data Retention

Your connection data is retained for as long as your connection remains active. If you reset your connection from within the app, your data is deleted from our servers immediately. Subscription records are retained by RevenueCat and Apple in accordance with their respective policies.


10. Third Party Services

The app uses the following third party services:

Supabase real-time database and connection management. Governed by Supabase's Privacy Policy.

Apple In-App Purchase payment processing. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat subscription management. Governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

We do not use any third party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers. We do not sell your data to any third party.


11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.


12. Governing Law

This privacy policy is governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
